Growing up in the Midwest hooked on channels like NatGeo and Animal Planet, Liz wanted to work with marine wildlife from a young age. Perhaps her distance from the vast blue seas led her to yearn for them more. After becoming scuba certified, Liz has dedicated every moment possible learning as much as she can about the ocean.
Having studied Marine Biology with a specific interest in sharks. Liz has worked as a dive master, deckhand, and mate for the last decade. Living in different parts of the world, Liz experienced some of the most incredible opportunities and adventures. Her true calling is working with sharks. She worked with them in Florida for 5 years. Pursuing her dream Liz headed to the Pacific Ocean. Totally enthralled by the wildlife abundance and biodiversity of Hawai’i, Liz relocated and is excited to explore new scenery and make aquaintence with Kona’s sharks.
