Firstly we place a very high emphasis on safety. This means you as a dive instructor or dive guide are given the tools to best manage your guests. We are proud of being one of the first operators to adopt a 2-1 discover scuba diver ratio years ago which is only now becoming an industry standard. Secondly, we like to have nice things. Our dive gear and supporting equipment is kept functioning smoothly and renewed regularly. This is not only for aesthetics but for the confidence of knowing our equipment is in good condition. While Kona Honu Divers works hard to provide the structure necessary to do your job, there is often a bit more ‘fun’ factor thrown in. We would encourage you to walk into the dive shop and ask for a tour or come out with us on of our boats to see what it’s like. The atmosphere is exciting and filled with talking and laughter. We love what we do and it shows in the way we interact with each other and guests. Joking, talking story, and making recommendations are regular occurrences.
