Learn to identify species frequency ranked from 60 to 120 by REEF fish surveyors. This course is a follow up to the Beginner Class where students learn to identify species frequency ranked 1 to 60. Beginner Class it is not a prerequisite.

Purpose
Students can become Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF) citizen science fish surveyors. REEF is a nonprofit which monitors fish populations throughout all oceans by this citizen science program.
When
- Wednesday, January 17 – 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM – ½ of the fish
- Thursday, January 18 – 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM – 2nd ½ of the fish
- Friday, January 19 – 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM – Review all fish

Class Size
Minimum of 10 up to 16 maximum students
Cost
$50 -Students get a course syllabus. Recommended students bring Hoover’s book (available in the shop) or Scuba Fish Hawaii app and REEF Fish Slate (provided in Beginner Class or available in the shop) with paper to find subject fish on the form.
